About This Place

Welcome to Rambo Selera, a culinary gem nestled at no 10, Jalan Sungai Abong, Taman Marin in Muar, Johor Darul Ta'zim, Malaysia. This charming eatery captures the essence of Malaysian cuisine with a vibrant menu that beckons food enthusiasts from far and wide. As a food reviewer, I cannot help but be drawn to the authentic experience this warong-style restaurant provides. With a phone line open at +60 16-646 8125, Rambo Selera makes it easy for you to inquire about their delicious offerings.

At Rambo Selera, every dish tells a story steeped in rich flavors and cultural heritage. The Mee Rebus, comprising yellow noodles bathed in a savory shrimp-based gravy, garnished with fresh shrimps and a perfectly boiled egg, is a must-try for only MYR 8.50. The delightful crunch of the beansprouts adds an exciting texture, making it a dish that you will remember long after the last bite. Another highlight is their signature Nasi Goreng Telur. This fried rice, paired with a fried egg and vibrant spices, sings comfort food in every mouthful for just MYR 8.00.

For those seeking a little heat, the Ikan Bilis Pedas, a spicy dried anchovy dish priced at MYR 17.60, will surely ignite your taste buds with its zesty kick. Dive into the soul-warming Soto Nasi, a comforting soup featuring rice cakes, shredded chicken, and fried peanuts, captivating with its aromatic essence, available for MYR 8.50.

Rambo Selera stands out not only for its variety but for its lovable focus on Roti Canai & Murtabak. The flaky flatbreads are expertly crafted, with options like the delightful Roti Canai Sardin Bawang and the classic Roti Canai Telur. Customers rave about their experience; one patron, Nur Aisyah, declares the roti canai "delicious and soft," complemented by a mouth-watering gravy. With prices ranging from MYR 7.20 to MYR 12.50, these treats promise both quality and value.

Despite its popularity—drawing crowds that sometimes lead to a bustling atmosphere—the flavors and friendly service at Rambo Selera prevail. As Ismail Rizuan noted, it excels as a breakfast spot, especially with its "lontong" dish, while other diners appreciate the home's warmth reflected in the friendly staff. Though the ambiance might have its imperfections, the dishes justify the visit and remind us that sometimes, a bit of chaos is part of the charm.

In essence, Rambo Selera is a celebration of Malaysian flavors that will leave a lasting impression on your palate. Whether you’re in the mood for comforting roti canai or a hearty bowl of mee rebus, this quaint restaurant is an experience worth savoring. Make your way to Rambo Selera and allow your taste buds to embark on a delightful journey.

Emm foods are delicious.. no doubt.. as expected, warong style restaurant in malaysia, a little bit dirty.. got C rating from the rating agency..

Roti canai delicious awsome n cheap. Variety of food u can enjoy it But the place too crowded.

Roti taste good, mee also taste good. Drink is tasteless..Always crowded during weekend..

I love the roti canai..the gravy is so delicious! While the roti canai is very soft..the staff's are friendly..and roti canai pisang is on the menu! What a bonus for me..been looking for roti canai pisang for a long time.. finally found it here..so satisfying!

Food: local breakfast delicacy. Nasi lemak, mee hoon, nasi goreng, soto, lauk pauk, various roti canai. Price: standard price afforable. Environment: clean restaurant. Do have outdoor sitting. P/s: roti canai need to wait a little longer as demand is high.

Love the roti canai here. Their roti sardin is different than other stall i have been before. Their roti sardin is a bit wet and soaky compare to other places. Their gravy taste extraordinary. It does not have the strong curry taste or dull yellow bean taste. It taste more like soup. Sometimes you can find chicken bone from the gravy they give you as they cook this gravy with chicken bone. The price is affordable as well. A place value for money.
